In order to accomplish the purposes of these Regulations, the City is divided into zoning districts as enumerated within these Regulations.
The location and boundaries of said zones are set forth on the map entitled, "Zoning Map of the City of Groton" which is filed in the office of the City Clerk.
Such zoning map, with all explanatory matter thereon, is hereby declared to be a part of these Regulations as fully as if set out herein.
Interpretation of District Boundaries
The zone boundary lines are intended generally to follow the centerlines of streets and similar rights-of-way, rivers, lot lines, or City boundary lines, all as shown on the Zoning Map; but where a zone boundary line does not follow such a line, its position shall be determined by how such boundary is depicted on said Zoning Map.
In case of uncertainty as to the true location of a zone boundary line in a particular instance, the determination thereof shall be made by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
