Nick Bosse is an independent Nashville recording artist with 10 years in the music entertainment industry. Nick’s songwriting and music stylings are influenced by country, southern rock, and bluegrass legends; which he projects in every live performance.

Concert Information:

City Cabaret is a series of indoor concerts which start in January each year. These concerts are held in an intimate setting that gives spectators an opportunity to see smaller musical groups, allowing for a more-up close and personal experience.

All concerts are held on Sundays and are performed at the City of Groton Municipal Building Auditorium. Concerts begin at 3:00 p.m. and end at roughly 5:00 p.m. The City Cabaret concert series is co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department.

The concerts are free. No alcohol is allowed. The concert info line is (860) 446-4129.

Concerts in the Park Returns Friday with The Cartells — June 14, 2022

The City of Groton Concerts in the Park returns this Friday, June 17th with longtime Groton favorite The Cartells. The Cartells are back again and ready to bring the party with them. Masters of jazz, swing, rock, Motown and R&B – The Cartells know how to play practically anything and leave the audience smiling. Come on down and enjoy a terrific band.

The Friday Night summer concert series takes place at Washington Park, Meridian Street in Groton. All concerts start at 6:30 p.m. and are co-sponsored and co-produced by Groton Utilities and the City of Groton Parks and Recreation Department.

The concerts are designed to be especially appealing to families for a fun, inexpensive night out. Spectators are encouraged to bring their families and enjoy the food trucks and concession stand.

Food trucks for this week are Supreme Hot Dog and Short Rib Cafe along with Robin’s Ice Cream truck.

LAST SUMMER CONCERT! Coyote River Band is Playing Live at Washington Park this Friday, 9/3 — August 31, 2021

This event was rescheduled from 8/27/21.

The Coyote River Band wraps up our summer concerts at Washington Park this Friday as part of the City of Groton’s Concerts in the Park live music series.

The Coyote River Band comes back to our summer concert series with their infectious blend of classic rock, country and dance music. The band mixes three-part harmonies with top-notch musicianship to keep fans entertained into the night. These guys (and gal) are really talented and a whole lot of fun. Come on down and enjoy a great band.

7/2 Concert Postponed Due to Weather — July 2, 2021

The City of Groton has postponed tonight’s Concerts in the Park show due to inclement weather and wet conditions in the park. We have rescheduled “Wild Nights” to perform in the park on Friday, August 20th.

Wild Nights is Southeastern Connecticut’s newest party rock band. The band plays music spanning across multiple decades – something to make everyone dance and have a blast! With songs by artists ranging from Maroon 5, Dua Lipa, Alanis Morissette, The Weeknd and The B-52s all the way to Guns and Roses there is something for everyone. Come see this “new to the park” act and enjoy a terrific band.

All shows are at Washington Park in the City of Groton, starting at 6:30 pm. We have a wide variety of food trucks for each show as well as media Q105 – so come on down and start the weekend off right by rockin’ out in the park!
