The Planning Department provides administrative and technical support to the Planning & Zoning Commission and other committees as required. Staff is responsible for a broad range of regulatory functions and planning projects including administering the Zoning and Subdivision Regulations and Coastal Management Program, and Plan of Conservation & Development. The Planning Department staff works closely with the Zoning & Building Department to provide assistance to developers, residents or others with land use or economic development projects and/or applications.
