The City Clerk provides many services to the community and is responsible for a variety of functions governed by State Statutes. Copies of the Connecticut General Statutes are located in the City Clerk’s Office.
The City Calendar is designed each year by the City Clerk and includes the Annual Reports of the Department Heads as well as the many activities that are sponsored by the City of Groton.
Information regarding Marriage Licenses, Birth and Death Certificates, Dog Licenses, and clamming permits can be obtained through the Town of Groton Clerk’s office or by calling 860.441.6640. Tax information can be obtained at the Town of Groton Tax Collector’s office or by calling 860.441.6670.
