Beach and Parks Committee

Meetings are held in C-8, City of Groton Municipal Building at 7:00 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

Members: 7 regular. Term: 3 years.

Appt. by: Mayor with approval of Council

This committee serves in an advisory capacity with regard to the rules & regulations, programs and fees for the Parks & Recreation Department with final approval by the Mayor & Council. They meet once monthly with the Director of Parks & Recreation to discuss any business that may come before them. The Mayor appoints a member of the City Council to act as a liaison to the committee.
