MUNICIPAL BUILDING RENOVATIONS WINDOW AND STOREFRONT REPLACEMENT AND ENTRANCE PAVING REPLACEMENT

DescriptionThe City of Groton will receive proposals at the Finance Office, 295 Meridian Street, Groton, Connecticut 06340, until 11:00 A.M. on October 19, 2023 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The project will be bid as a single prime contract.

The project scope includes but is not limited to the removal and replacement of windows, removal and replacement of front entrance storefront and doors, removal and replacement of entrance plaza concrete paving including the installation of snow melt system, guardrail removal and replacements, select masonry repairs and all other work as indicated by the “Bid Issue” drawings and specifications dated September 11, 2023.

The above summary is a brief description of work on which the bidders are requested to perform and bid. Please review the bid package and submit a bid accordingly.

Bids shall include all incidental apparatus, appliances, materials, labor, services necessary for a complete working assembly and installation, including all required permits and inspections.

A complete set of drawings and specifications will be available on September 25, 2023 and can be obtained from the City of Groton website www.cityofgroton.com.

A NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the project site, for the purpose of considering questions posed by bidders. The conference will be open to general contract and subcontract bidders.
