Description
The City of Groton, Department of Utilities are requesting formal bids to furnish and install a new activated carbon odor control system and HVAC equipment at their Water Pollution Control Facility including associated demolition work, concrete, ductwork, piping, controls and electrical conduit and wire as shown on the contract drawings and listed in the contract technical specifications.
The Issuing Office is Wright-Pierce, 169 Main Street, 700 Plaza, Middletown, CT 06457. Bidding Documents may be viewed and/or obtained in PDF format on-line at www.wright-pierce.com/projects. Interested parties will be furnished one PDF download set of Bidding Documents at a cost of $50.00 per download.

Pre-Bid Meeting
A pre-bid conference and site tour will be held at the Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) on January 11th, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. The address of the WPCF is 311 Thames Street, Groton, CT 06430.
Qualifications
To be considered a responsive Bidder, the Contractor shall have obtained at least one set of Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office. The Bid will not be awarded to a Bidder unless a record for obtaining at least one set of Bidding Documents exists in the Issuing Office. To meet this requirement and to establish the record of receipt, a prospective Bidder must obtain Bidding Documents using the name that is to appear on the Bid Form.
