Trash Container Information:

Container Size: All garbage is to be placed in covered metal or heavy plastic containers (not larger than thirty-five (35) gallons nor weighing when filled more than seventy-five (75) pounds) at the street curb or curb line for collection.

The City of Groton Sanitation Dept. does sell 96-Gallon Toters for $72.00 each.

The Universal design is compatible with automated and semi-automated lifters to fit onto our garbage truck. Toter Two-Wheeled Carts (Trash Cans) are virtually maintenance-free. Manufactured using a stress-free, Advanced Rotational Molding process, these carts are tough. The use of medium density polyethylene (MDPE), provides a superior strength-to-weight ratio not found in standard injection molded carts. They are easy to tilt and roll.

Yard Clippings, Brush or Hedges Pickup:

We will take only 1-2 cans or bags of yard clippings, brush or hedges with your trash.

GRASS Clippings  – We do not take Grass Clippings under any circumstances.
