PARKING BAN – JANUARY 3 – 5, 2018

The City of Groton is enacting a Parking Ban on all City streets to facilitate snow removal operations. The ban will run from 11 P.M. on today January 3, 2018 until NOON on Friday January 5th,2018.

Parking is PROHIBITED on all City of Groton streets during this time period with the exception that EVEN side parking is permitted on Nathan Hale Drive, Paul Revere Drive and Litton Avenue.

VEHICLES PARKED on hills or near intersections present the most danger for the snow plow operators.

Temporary parking is available at the Groton Heights School, Eastern Point Beach, the Municipal Parking Lot at 2 Latham Street and at Washington Park.

Vehicles in violation of the snow removal parking ban may be ticketed and towed at the owners expense.
